This website has steals and deals like crazy and I always check to see what's new weekly. The bargains you can snag are amazing especially if you're into any sort of outdoor activities.
What is Bargain Outfitters?
Bargain Outfitters and their sister store/site Sportsman Guide bring to you all sorts of deals on hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, and other sporting goods plus so much more. Bargain Outfitters sell lots of outlet and overstocked items for a fraction of their original cost.
Navigation
The home page is busy. Lots to see, lots to advertise! You will see the bargains of the week in the middle and many other new arrivals and specials on the sides of the page. If you want to see all the special bargains, you can scroll down and click any link. That link will take you to a nice big picture of the item and a full description and pricing. If you prefer, you can navigate by looking for a particular section of the site like Camping Equipment, Men's Footwear, Tools...the list is long. You can also enter what you want in the search box and get fast results that way. Navigation isn't tough. It's lots of fun to see what the specials are and what they are offering.
Variety
They have literally hundreds, perhaps thousands, of items for sale on this site. Outdoor equipment and clothing make up a large portion but there are also personal accessories like lighters, brand name sunglasses, really nice jewelry, and more. The variety is just endless. I find myself going to look for one thing and browsing for hours and liking a lot of what they sell. They also have a Military section with overstocked military items from around the world and even used items such as backpacks, jackets, hats, helmets, even uniforms. My son actually bought a German gas mask full body outfit for Halloween for $1.97 on the site (and it's pretty darn cool!).
Once you finish adding everything into your cart, you click on the check out link. If you have shopped there before and have opted to have your info stored, you can speed check out with just your user name and password. Otherwise, you can finish your order by phone or fill out the form giving the usual info (name, address, email address, payment method, etc).
After you pick the shipping method you want (see below), you finish the deal with a major credit card and get an immediate letter of verification. You also get an order number that you can track on their site to see where your items are and when they will reach you. The items arrive very quickly and have always been exactly as described.
Often, they have free shipping specials and other incentives so that is something to watch for. But the amount you save at this site and the low shipping charges makes paying for shipping almost bearable even for me, a shipping charge hater!

They have a three hour "Lunch Time Special" where, for three hours every day, already marked down items are marked down further. They do that every day from 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CST. You can snag some really good deals during those hours.
Each week, they have specials. I get an email every week and click on the link to see all the specials. I am amazed at the prices of some of these items. I got my hiking boots for only $49.99 when they retail for $130.00. They were not seconds or used, just overstocked. I also picked up a pair of Harley Boots there for $39.97 that are normally $120.00. Addictive? I would say so! If you look long enough, you'll buy!
We purchased a queen-sized air mattress for camping for $25 with the pump and several other camping items at rock bottom prices. I have never had to return anything for any reason.

Everything is very detailed as far as what it is, what condition it is in (some items are used in the military sections), and the reason for the low prices (overstocked, change in design, whatever). If you like outdoor items, rugged clothing, athletic footwear, name brand equipment, and great prices, this site is one to check out. It's MUCH more than just an outdoor site. There are gifts for everyone there and I have done Christmas shopping for family members who wouldn't dream of stepping foot outside unless it was to sprint to their cars. This is a great site that I return to very often. I have never been disappointed in the variety or quality and have always received my items fast and in excellent condition.
I can't think of any cons except that, at times, low priced or popular items are out of stock in certain colors and sizes and that's frustrating. You just have to get there early and get what you want. I have to give this site five stars. They really are one of the best around of their kind.
