Wow, I just had a great experience with a website I knew nothing about until I landed there via a search. Bed Bath Home Online Store is simple but did everything right and VERY fast! I am impressed and will return to the site for more.
What Bed Bath Home Online Store Sells
As the name implies, this site sells items for the bed, bath, and home. There is no furniture, mostly things like towels, sheets, linens, bath accessories and shower curtains, home accents and the like.
My Experience
Every year around this time, I suddenly lose every towel I own. I don't know what happens to them but they vanish and we all end up fighting for the few we have left. I usually go to The Textile Shop for towels for the family but I couldn't get anything into my cart for some reason so I did a search for inexpensive towels. I found some at the Bed Bath Home Online Store. The site is simple with categories down the side and a search box. Photos are good and descriptions are ample.
The home page told me they had been in business since 1941. Hmm, and I never heard of them. They reside in PA and the site has a homey feel to it. Browsing the site is easy and there are some great bargains to be had. I found the towels I wanted — oversized bath towels for just five bucks apiece — and ordered several colors. I saw some other things I wanted but I always check out sites with a fairly small order before I spend too much and possibly get burned.
When I was finished shopping, I went to the checkout area. I could choose to register with the site or go ahead and make my order without registering. I didn't register and went straight to the checkout, filling in my personal info and choosing my method of payment from major credits cards or PayPal. There is a good shipping chart on the site which tells exactly what the shipping charge will be and that orders over $75.00 are free. My shipping was just $5.95 with no tax. That is very reasonable considering the high shipping rates I have been paying for much lighter parcels lately.
I chose to use PayPal virtual MasterCard which essentially is money from my PayPal account but gives a one use only MasterCard number and expiry and us processed like a credit card. The money comes out of my PayPal account but I don't have to give my debit card details. That went through just fine and I got an immediate confirmation letter late on a Wednesday night when I made my order.
I got a shipping letter on Friday afternoon. My order was on my doorstep that morning before the shipping email arrived! We're talking a day and a few hours from order to delivery. WOW.
My towels are fine. They are as described and will be lost within a few months somewhere that exists only to collect towels from my house. I am extremely pleased with the service and selection and absolutely will return to the site again.
They have a toll free number to call if you need to. I didn't need to. I am one heck of a happy customer after the last several experiences I have had on other sites high shipping, long wait times, and messed up orders.
Shipping and Returns
Shipping beings at $4.95 and goes to $9.95 before it is free at $75.00. That may be a limited time offer but shipping rates remain reasonable.
Returns and exchanges are accepted by sending the items back to the site address or by taking items back to a Bed Bath Home store near you. They only have stores in Pennsylvania and Ohio so you will more than likely need to mail your returns back. Shipping is not refunded as usual but you will get the full amount plus any tax paid. Tax is only charged in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Smaller sites are often better than the well known ones and that is certainly the case with Bed Bath Home Online Store. I had no problems navigating, choosing what I wanted, the variety, out of stock items, ordering, and receiving my order. My order came in a day and a half which is just amazing especially since I paid so little for shipping. The quality of my items is what was described and I certainly will return to site for more. I strongly believe in supporting the lesser known sites that are fair and try hard to please their customers. This site deserves my business and will get it. I give it 5 stars. There is nothing else they could have done to make my experience better!
