I am a fan of many DuWop products and usually get them at beauty sites around the net. However, I was looking for a few certain items and couldn't find what I wanted so I went to the source, DuWop's official website.
I got what I wanted and scored some great samples and even a discount.
What the Site Sells
All DuWop products from cosmetics to skin care body care items. Many things I haven't seen on the mainstream site.
Navigation and Ordering
The site is very inviting. There are lots of things to do and read including celebrity looks, the latest DuWop media and mentions, and what's hot. There is an area for special promotions and the very latest DuWop products.
Finding what you want is easy. There are categories and many ways to get to that special product. There is a drop down box with every product on the site for easy access. I prefer to browse the site looking at all they offer but, if you are rushed, you can easily hone in on what you need.
Photos and descriptions are very good but the shades aren't really clearly shown most of the time. You have to rely on the description and a little photo. To buy, just add items to your cart. New customers must register on the site but it's just the usual info you need to supply to have your order sent. You also pick a password for easier access next time you visit the site. You also will pick a user name and password.
You can choose one of two types of shipping — one regular and one expedited. Your charges will show up at checkout. Shipping is free for orders over $50.00 in the US. Enter your MasterCard, Visa, or AmEx card number and expiry and that is it. You get the confirmation of order email immediately and a letter with a link to track your order soon after.
Orders arrive fast! Mine came in a few days packed well and with two nice samples included.
My Experience
I enjoyed my little stroll through DuWop land. They have new and innovative products and I ended up buying a couple of items I didn't know existed. But, they are really good products.
I had no issues with navigation or ordering and my MasterCard was not charged until my order was shipped. I got my nicely packed order quickly and the samples I got were not one use foil ones but bigger deluxe ones that I will definitely get several uses from. The site often has promotions for those signed up to receive their emails and I began getting some promotional mail after I signed up. It's not spam at all. I enjoy it. They have some good deals and specials and I want to know about it! You will only get emails if you choose to. If you don't want to be on their list, you just don't check the box when registering.
I was able to track my package from start to finish and I have no need to return anything but I could if I needed to.
I like the site and will go back when I need a DuWop fix but only if my order is over $50.00 or I have a promotional code. I can get most items elsewhere and not pay shipping.
Shipping and Returns
Shipping is free for orders over $50.00. Under that, it is based on area and order amount I assume. I saw that a $30.00 item would have cost $6.96 for me to buy. I would not have bought it on the site. I could get it elsewhere with the extra shipping.
You can return anything you purchase for a refund within 30 days by sending the item back to DuWop. You will not be refunded shipping charges.
Conclusion
DuWop Online Store is a good one for buying all things DuWop. They have the newest and hottest DuWop products and some good promotions as well. You get two deluxe samples with your order and free shipping on all orders over $50.00. Customer service is there if you need them and returns are accepted with no hassles.
I will return to the site but only if I intend to spend $50.00 or more. I don't like shipping fees. Otherwise, this is a great site for DuWop products. 4 stars!
