Seamless No-Pressure Online Store for High Tech Items Like Cameras

We needed a new camera for the newspaper at the college. Those throwaway jobs just were not taking very good photos. We were throwing away so many pictures that it made sense to spring for a camera and save on disposable cameras and 35 mm film.
I am a researcher. It really doesn't matter what it is, I'm going to find out what I can and make the best decision I can. That's part of what drew me to J&R Computer World. They had lots of good information on the cameras and the other items carried in the store. It's kind of Best Buy place but online with audio, software, movies, music, and lots more. Some stores that carry so much as hard to use, but this space was easy to navigate.
When I cost compared after deciding which camera, J&R was one of the lowest — they were within $10 of the lowest. The stores with lower prices had some bad reviews online and had comments that they sent gray items, foreign products, and pushed add-ons. On the other hand, J&R looked solid from what other buyers were saying.
The purchase was seamless. I ordered. They emailed to say they got the order and then emailed to say it had been shipped. The camera came in 4 days to my house and that was with regular ship which is clearly listed and fair.
When the camera arrived, it was packed neatly. The item was brand new and had all the information new and directions in English with the card to send in for warranty.
J&R did not email or call and try to see me things like camera tripods and carrying cases. They have not even sent any email to my box other than the confirmations. Some people may think that is a mistake as far as advertising, but I know where I got the camera, and I know they did a great job. They don't have to bug me. I tend to go back to stores that do me right.
If you're buying audio, video, or music/DVD items, be sure to check out J&R. You'll find good information and good prices on good products with no strings attached. I'll spend a little more for that if I have to, but this is a very reasonable place. I can do better on smaller items like the music and movies, but they really rock on big ticket purchases.
