I admit I am a lingerie collector. I have said it in other reviews. I just love sexy or pretty things and, even though I have very little time to actually utilize my vast collection these days, I know it's there. In case. In case...I want to put on a fashion show in my living room or something. Having said that, I stumbled on Leather Lust Lingerie while surfing around and just had to peek inside. And stay a while.
What the Site Sells
Despite the name, this site sells much more than leather. It sells a good selection of leather lingerie and clubwear as well as PVC (imitation patent leather) lingerie and clubwear, fabric lingerie, costumes, and festishy stuff plus accessories and more. It is safe to say this site is a bit wilder than a typical lingerie site but it is by no means distasteful or out there. Even what they classify as "fetish wear" really isn't. It's more costumey than actually made for hardcore fetishes so it's safe for all to navigate. There s no nudity on the site. This is a unisex site and there are items for both sexes for sale here. They sell plus sizes as well.
Navigation
The site is black and purple with a list of categories along the right side. The middle of the page has a selection of different items that are just in or on sale in several categories.
You can perform a keyword search and an advanced search to find exactly what you are looking for.
You can browse through the categories and look at the offerings but the site is somewhat slow loading (and I am on a DSL). Each item is modeled and there is plenty of description about the items next to the pictures. The prices are clearly displayed as are the sizes available.
Once you make your choices, you go to the checkout. First time users must fill out a form with their personal information before proceeding. You can choose a user name and password if you want at that time for quicker checkout the next time you visit.
Once you get past that step, it is on to picking a payment method. They accept all major credit cards and paypal online as well as phone orders.
You're charged shipping according to your total (and country as it sells worldwide) and you're all set.
You get a confirmation letter, then one with a tracking number.
Your items will arrive in a discrete brown envelope or box with no mention of the word "lingerie" or anything else to tip off the postman that you actually do enjoy the finer (or "funer") things in life now and then.
Variety and Quality
There is a nice variety of items but this site doesn't have the volume of items like Fredrick's of Hollywood or similar chain stores or sites. The quality for the price is quite good. I have only ordered a couple items but they were made well and exactly as described. I have no problem at all with the quality of my items.
My Experience
I liked the look of the site (purple and black is one of my favorite color schemes), so I searched around to see what was being offered. I noticed right away that the site seemed to load slowly. When you click on a picture or navigate from one category to another, it takes a bit of time. It's not agonizingly slow but it seems to be slower than most commercial websites I have frequented.
Still, the picture quality is high and I really can get a good idea of what is on the site by looking at the pics and reading the detailed descriptions.
I found a hot looking patent leather (PVC) bustier that could be worn out or in and the price was great. I had to have it. Mind you, I rarely go to clubs or anywhere where a bustier like this would ever be appropriate, but I had to have it anyway. So, I did what I always do. I bought it. The price was far lower on this site than I had seen on any other site for a similar looking item and that made my decision an easy one.
I looked around a bit more, saw several nice things but didn't get anything else, and proceeded to the checkout where I used my MasterCard to purchase the item. Shipping for my item was $8.40 for standard shipping which made me want to go back and buy something else to get the free shipping over $100 deal but I stuck to my guns and ordered just the one item and begrudgingly paid the shipping 0and even upgraded for 15 more cents).
I got an email right away and then another when my item shipped with tracking numbers. I was able to track my item on the website. It took about six days (weekends were included) to arrive and it was in a plain, innocent looking envelope. I don't care if my postman sees "Leather Lust Lingerie" on my package but I am sure others who shop there may so the discretion factor is a nice touch.
The item was packaged well and, as it promised on the site, did run smaller than the normal sizing, so I was right to go with a size large rather than a medium. Be aware that most items do run a size smaller and order up. The site makes that clear but I want to verify that fact since I have ordered other things from them and always needed a size up.
I tried my bustier on, put my tightest jeans on, and slipped on some spike heels then stood there with no place to go. Sigh. But I eventually did wear it out and it was comfortable and looked classy (as classy goes for a bustier).
The good prices and service led me to return a couple more times for other items and I always had a decent experience and got what I ordered in a timely and discrete fashion.
Shipping and Returns
Shipping is free for orders over $100. For orders under $100, the cost ranges from about $7.00 to about $10.00 for standard shipping.
There are a few different shipping methods offered. The shipping for my item was $8.40 for standard 5-7 day shipping and $8.85 for three-day delivery so I took the three day! You can also choose two-day delivery for a slightly higher cost.
Most items are returnable or exchangeable as long as they have not been worn and still have the tags on. Some items cannot be returned for health reasons (such as panties and thongs). You must call or write the site and get a RMA before returning the item. Exchange requests must be made within two business days of delivery. I am a bit leery of their return policy and am glad I didn't have to return anything. However, I do understand that, due to the nature of some items, health is a concern, and I wouldn't want to buy returned items that have been worn and sent back so the policy does protect the consumer.

Conclusion
This is a fun site for sexy leather and leather like lingerie and clubwear as well as sexy lingerie of other materials. The prices are pretty darn good even for all leather items. I have not purchased anything leather from them so I can't tell you what the quality of their leather is. However, the quality of their PVC, material items, and accessories is fine.
Free shipping over $100 is a plus although I wish it were over $50 instead.
One thing to watch for is sizing. Pay attention to the sizing charts and definitely know that if you fall between sizes, order up. I am a thin woman who never wears a size large in anything but found the size large tops at Lust for Leather Lingerie to be just right (not even slightly roomy).
They have plus sizes and men's items. Some of the men's items are laughable to me but whatever floats a guy's boat is fine with me. Nothing on the site is distasteful or truly fetishy. It's much more costume-like than true fetish wear
The variety, while not huge, is unique and fun, and the prices are generally reasonable. The shipping costs are average to free and the delivery is discrete and on time.
I have not had to deal with customer service for returns but at least they have a clearly stated returns policy that isn't confusing or doublespeak. They also have a toll free number to call to ask any questions and make an order if you prefer to do so over the phone.
This isn't the greatest site on the web but it's a good niche site that caters to people like...me, I guess, who like unique clubwear and lingerie but don't want to spend exorbitant amounts of money on it.
I give the site 4 stars. It's slow moving at times which can be a bit annoying but otherwise, it's a fun place to shop.
